Policies that govern the operations of summer and afternoon programming are those that are adopted by individual school boards. Across the supervisory union many policies are similar, if not identical. Policies relevant to the E.L.O. Programming include, but are not limited to:
  • Volunteers & Work Study
  • Alcohol & Drug Free Work Place
  • Employee Harassment
  • Public Complaint about Personnel
  • Tobacco Prohibition
  • Substance Abuse
  • Student Conduct & Discipline
  • Student Harassment
  • Prevention Weapons
  • Student Conduct & Discipline
  • Pupil Privacy Rights
  • Nutrition & Fitness
  • Acceptable Use of Electronic Resources
  • Prevention of Bullying
  • Medication
  • Reporting Suspected Child Abuse
  • State Rule 4500 (Restraint)
Please visit your school's website to review these and other policies.

In addition to School Board Policies, the CCSU 21 C Program provides parents with a Program Handbook. Each site also has a Operations Manual that further outlines protocols and procedures. School Parent/Student handbooks also provide helpful information.
